Land investment tops the list as one of the most reliable ways of building wealth; it is secure, no value depreciation, and translates easily into transgenerational wealth, plus, having your own land in this part of the world means you get to build your own house and be free from house rent wahala.

Getting a piece of land or two, should be rated as a survival skill in this country, and even everywhere in the world, because it opens you up to an endless list of possibilities; you can choose to buy, build, then lease out your apartments, buy land now and sell later and enjoy solid return on your investment (ROI), or just buy, build, and live in your own home, see how much value this flat green earth carries? Funny thing is, when it comes to land there is no “new production”.

You hear Real Estate Salesmen quote lines like: they are not making land again or don’t wait to buy land, buy land then wait.
The gist is, you either secure your own piece of property right now, or create a fat dent in your credit balance getting it later in the future when the value spikes up.
The prompting to invest in land sounds genuine enough, sensible even, but then you wonder, is property investment for me? Can I truly be a landowner? Build my own safe space?

Here are some strong reasons that would compel you to embrace property investment like your life depends on it:

Money Tree

One of the less obvious but compelling reasons to invest in vacant land right now is that you get to build your own money tree. Remember that silly phrase, my money grows like grass, well that could be true for you if you buy a piece of vacant land in a choice location, then let it sit for a while and then sell later, when you see the “profit” generated in the process, you just might take up buying and selling land as your career.
It is not rocket science, save up, don’t buy the dip, just buy land, and watch your pockets go deep when you sell later.

Build Passive Income

When you buy a piece of land property, and you build, you can decide to lease out the apartments, that serves as a passive source of income for you, with monthly alerts coming in regularly. While investing in land property is not a walk in the park, at the end of the day the benefits you stand to gain from your investment is worth the wait.

Land has no Discrimination

If you still wonder if land investment is a feat you can pull off, know this: land does not discriminate; young or old, office workers or entrepreneurs, whatever your credit balance is, there is a payment structure that works for you, all you need is some intentionality and inner drive to achieve the dream of being a landowner and create transgenerational wealth.
